I just got back from the doctor. I got my very first physical. I’ll be honest – I was nervous. I don’t like going to the doctor and I knew they’d take blood – I’m not good w/ needles. Anyway, it wasn’t so terrible. They did and EKG, took blood, went over my family history, and did blood pressure and all that stuff. Healthy as a horse. The only thing that made my doctor go “Hmm?” is that I get random headaches in the back of my head. I don’t feel them coming – just all of a sudden they’re there. It’s not accompanied w/ anything, though, so there’s nothing to do right now. If it persists, I’ll have to get an MRI done, but I don’t think it’s often enough to warrant that right now.
When the guy took my blood, he tried the right arm first and the vein kept moving away from the needle (vomit). So, he did the left. This reminded me of when I was pregnant and needed an IV. The stupid woman kept screwing up and my hands felt like pin cushions. I really hate needles.
