So You Think You Can Dance Top 16

Last night’s show was AWESOME!  I absolutely love the choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon.  They’re the ones who did the hip hop with Joshua and Katee about the soldier leaving for war.  THEY’RE AMAZING!!!  Anyway, they didn’t disappoint last night.  The best dance was Chelsie and Mark.  The story behind this is a woman who’s married to a workaholic.  Beautiful…

Today, I have to put the top 3 dances – they were all that good.  I thought the second best of the night was Joshua and Katee with a samba.  Joshua is hip hop, so it’s pretty amazing that he got his hips to move like that.

The great thing about those two couples is when you see them NOT dancing, they’re totally different.  Mark is weird, Chelsie is a tomboy, Katee is beyond innocent, and Joshua is a cry baby.  It just shows what great dancers they are – they totally get into a character.  The third best of the night was Kherrington and Twitch.  They did a hip hop dance choreographed by…  TABITHA AND NAPOLEON!!!

By the way, I couldn’t stand Adam Shankman last night as the guest judge.  He goes on for WAY too long and he’s a jackass.

Wipeout

Did anyone see this last night on TV?  It’s basically like MXC (on Spike).  Contestants go through these obstacle courses and try not to fall.  There were times when I was laughing so hard I couldn’t catch my breath.  Honestly, people falling is my most favorite thing in the world.  O’Dell and I share this bond – nothing makes us happier.  If someone’s hurt, of course, we are able to contain ourselves, but for the most part, we have a bad habit of laughing out loud and pointing.  Don’t worry – I’m able to laugh at myself when I fall, so it’s alright.  Anyway, you must watch this show.

Legally Blonde

Cassie went home this week.  THANK GOODNESS!!!  That girl was driving me crazy.  I must tell you that I’m absolutely loving this show.  At first, I was a little worried about it, but now I seriously want to know who’s going to make it.  What if they come on the tour??  The best this week was definitely Rhiannon (sp?).  Notice all the blondes made it through and then the brunette shorty.  That really surprised me.  Not that the blondes made it through, but the shorty.  I thought she was terrible and she’ll never be Elle Woods.  Thoughts?

Freaks me out

It’s freaky enough when there’s a character on TV or in a movie named “Erin.”  Well, when I heard “Aaron Simpson” last night on American Gladiators, I swear my heart froze.  It was this guy and they said his name about 5 times in a row.  And then he called himself “Simp Dawg.”  And then I vomited.

Cathy’s baby is almost here!!!

So, my best friend Cathy is having her baby in about 3 weeks.  They’re scheduling the delivery for July 9th.  Of course, she could have him earlier, but right now, that’s the plan.  She went to the doctor yesterday and wasn’t dilated at all – she was a little frustrated with that.  I know how she feels.  When I was in my last month with Emma, I was MISERABLE!  My whole body hurt and I was ready for this to happen.  Emma was born one day before her due date.  I couldn’t believe I made it the entire 40 weeks!  Anyway, Cathy’s miserable.  I feel for her.

I’m actually thinking of taking off work to be there for the birth.  I don’t want to be in the room – NO WAY!  I think I’d pass out and start having flashbacks.  No, no, no, I want to be in the waiting room and be one of the first to see little Jackson.  I’M SO EXCITED!!!

So You Think You Can Dance Top 18

Last night’s show was great.  The best of the night were Twitch and Kherrington with the Viennese Waltz.  This is especially good considering that Twitch is a popper).  He’s been a favorite of mine since last season when he didn’t make the cut and Hok beat him out.  I think he’s already better than Hok.

I can’t find the video for Chelsie and Mark, but check back later!

The Incredible Hulk

It should be called “The Sucky Hulk” or “The Why-Did-I-Waste-My-Money Hulk” or “The Why-Didn’t-They-Listen-to-Ed-Norton Hulk.”
